Komodo Property Group was founded on principles inspired by the spiritual meaning of the Komodo Dragon which symbolises agility, power, positive change, fortune, and prosperity. Our passion for property is only surpassed by our desire to maximise value for our clients through a strategic approach unique to Komodo Property Group.

We specialise in Tenant-lead commercial, retail and mixed-use residential projects, working in partnership with developers, landowners, builders, tenants and investors to deliver outcomes beyond expectations.

Our full suite of services and our dynamic business model allows us to move quickly across all aspects of our projects with a focus on risk mitigation and value extraction. Our nimble and flexible approach ensures we can enter a project at any stage and provide value immediately.

Our Story.

Jacob and Daniel have a shared passion for delivering value to clients and working in partnership to maximise outcomes for all stakeholders. An alignment of values and passion for property saw the establishment of Komodo Property Group.

The name Komodo has been used to signify the way in which the entire team operates. The Komodo Dragon moves with purpose, has an intense presence, and knows how to identify good openings when they see them. As an organisation we have clearly defined goals and sound intentions, followed by fast (but suitable) actions.

Founders Jacob Scott and Daniel Mulvey bring together over 30 years of property and business operations experience to form Komodo Property Group. Our team is rapidly expanding, so keep an eye out for our new Komodo team members.

Daniel Mulvey

For the past 20 years Daniel has owned and operated several large organisations working with local government to operate some of Australia’s largest critical infrastructure in the sport and recreation industry. Daniel holds and EMBA from Melbourne Business School and is responsible for strategic business operations and providing key business direction for the Komodo Group.

Jacob is a seasoned property expert with over 10 year’s experience maximising value across a large property portfolio. Jacob has built a reputation as a leader in the industry developing critical strategic development methodologies which enhances value across all areas of his projects. Jacob leads the property team at Komodo Group with an emphasis on maximising value through People, Partnerships and Property.
